I look over the 50 plus years I've been alive and smile. Is everything ideally the way I expected? No! However, I'm so thankful. I've seen and done so much that I have to be grateful for God's grace. I've been sick and help those who are suffering. I've been homeless, and now help people find a place to sleep. I've lost everything and gained triple back; I've experienced loss of a loved one and still feeling it. Turn around and pray for others who have experienced a loss. Encourage others you can do the same. I am a husband and father, with time I've done well in that area. Real Christian friends and family who surround me and that genuinely love me. Not all of us have it this way. So I teach others to surround yourself with people that care for you. I now teach and empower teachers, students, and dads that you got this. I have never regret the mistakes I've made, but with God's grace, I've learned from it. If you allow God to intervene, He will make you humble and wise. So this Thanksgiving, I give thanks Dads to God for keeping me because it could have been a different outcome.
