The Reunion ( Part 1)

It's been a long time coming. When I first had my daughter it was such a joy. I had tears rolling down on my face. I watched her grow to a full adult. The one thing I couldn't give her was meeting my side of the family. As she was growing, she would ask me from time to time about my father, mother and sisters. It took me to a place I really didn't want to.

Twenty-seven years later, I was messaged on Social Media by my oldest sister. After so many years she found me and reunited me via Social Media with all of them. Soon, I am going to see them in person. This is going to be the first time in years that I’ve seen my sisters, their children and spouses. Honestly, I feel like a kid in a candy store. As a father, we too, want to be or feel wanted and loved. Our backgrounds makes a difference on how we treat others and our children. Make sure fathers you show love to your children no matter what experiences you have faced in your past with your family.
