Dads, we are more needed than ever before to show up and lead by example. No time to make excuses or sit down. In these times, we have to explain the importance of wearing a mask and the injustices of African-Americans. We are praying and teaching for the safety of our children. Yes, they are looking to us for understanding and encouragement. Many times, they want us to listen.
School is reopening both virtually and in some locations “face to face”. We need to help our child transition into this new school year and continue to help them excel in all their courses. We must also help them get tutoring or reinforce study skills by school leaders. The demands are high, and we have to let them know they got this and help them best way possible. If we do not have the answer, do not be embarrassed to seek help from others.Dads, never say you have all the answers and but find relief in a heartbeat to assist you in finding a solution.
When it comes to discipline, if it works in your household continue to do so, we have to stand by what we administer for that action of that child or children. It must create positive outcomes. IF YOU ARE A SINGLE DAD AT ANY COST, STAY IN THAT CHILDS LIFE! They need us, and children will strive to be good because we are involved and love them. Lets make it a great year!
